Visit the heritage of this small town of Enclave des Papes with its particular charm.
You can visit its castle, the Ripert tower, the chapel of the White Penitents and the walk to discover some of the Papal Bollards.
- The clock tower :
Says the Ripert Tower is actually the dungeon of Ripert Castle. It is a square tower 17 m high and about 7m side, which offers a 360° view of the surrounding landscape.
- Chapel of the White Penitents :
It was built at the end of the sixteenth century, and is the place of meeting and Catholic worship of the brotherhood of the white penitents of Valréas, since 1509. It has been classified as a historic monument since 11 August 1987.
- The Papal Posts :
Are stone markers, dating from the fourteenth century, used to delimit the boundary between the territories of the Dauphiné, and those of the Enclave of the Popes.


- The castle of Simiane :
In the Middle Ages, the Lords of Ripert endowed the city with a castle in the thirteenth century.
In the Renaissance, the castle was the residence of the little daughter of the countess of Seville who married at the castle of Grignan, November 29, 1695, Louis III of Simiane, marquis of Esparron, said the marquis of Simiane, gentleman of the duke of Orléans.
